Abstract

The Postdoctoral Development Plan of Fernando Henrique de Albuquerque Maia aims to assess the accuracy of artificial intelligence algorithms in predicting cancer survival, focusing on cervical cancer in São Paulo hospitals (2010-2019); develop an interactive dashboard to visualize research outcomes, supporting public policies; and collaborate on the evaluation of organized cervical cancer screening. The plan includes publishing high-impact papers, presenting at conferences, and creating technical materials for policymakers. It also involves training in ethics and scientific integrity, supervising students, delivering lectures, and contributing to undergraduate and graduate courses. The fellow will collaborate with national and international teams, develop funding proposals, and enhance skills in epidemiological data analysis, machine learning, scientific writing, and leadership. This plan underscores its potential impact on cancer control and the advancement of competencies in artificial intelligence applied to public health.
