Abstract

Objective: To analyze the measurement properties of an instrument related to contextual factors during pregnancy. Methods: This is a methodological study with cross-sectional and longitudinal assessments to evaluate the measurement properties of the instrument entitled Perception of the Influence of Gestational Contextual Factors - PICOGE, developed by the Women's Health Research Laboratory of the Federal University of São Carlos (LAMU - UFSCar). As eligibility criteria, Brazilian pregnant women aged 18 years or older will be included. To analyze the measurement properties: content validity, structural validity, reliability, error and internal consistency, and construct validity - hypothesis testing, and the recommendations of the Consensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement Instruments (COSMIN) will be followed. Regarding the characterization of the population, this will be done descriptively and statistical tests will be used to analyze the other variables according to their normality, with p<0.05 and a 95% confidence interval using the IBM SPSS AMOS software (version 22). Expected results: The aim is to provide a tool on contextual factors related to valid and reproducible pregnancy and to support, through data, the development of individualized interventions as well as the construction of public policies that strengthen the population's access to assistance and health services.
