Abstract

Changes in rainfall patterns are causing producers to look for sustainable technologies to reduce the impact of droughts. And one crop that has impact is grass, which is the main source of animal feed in Brazil. Thus the aim of this proposal is to analyze different percentages of hydrogel mass (Mh) as a function of soil mass (Ms).as a function of soil mass (Ms), in order to analyze whether the volume applied (0.5%, 1% and 1.5% Mh/Ms) will not cause the reverse effect, in which it may retain water and not make it available to the plant. The aim is to evaluate the development of the grass crop, as well as the impacts on its root system and also the physical characteristics of the soil.
