Abstract

This research aims to develop service life curves for development-oriented management, specifically focusing on tree fall of the most commonly planted species in the city of São Paulo. To achieve this, primary data will be collected through tomography and analysis of root conditions in the soil, which will be examined alongside secondary data from the Secretariat of Green and Environment to construct the service life curves.Additionally, the study seeks to establish the correlation between the structure and composition of the rhizosphere microbiome of tree species planted in different environments (green areas and sidewalks) and at different developmental stages (maturity and senescence), with the goal of identifying microbial groups associated with each treatment. To this end, the rhizosphere microbiome will be characterized through amplicon sequencing of bacteria (16S rRNA), Archaea (16S rRNA), and fungi (ITS1/ITS2), as well as through functional profiling via metagenomic sequencing.
