Abstract

The master's student will be responsible for the numerical simulation of the flow in the divergent channel including the heat transfer generated by the flame and external heating and should generate data to indicate improvements in the initial setup of the micro burner. The objective of this numerical study is to understand the behavior of flame stabilization in divergent channels. Understanding the flame stabilization in such channel configurations will help to improve the design of micro burners and suggest solutions to expand the application limits of the technique.
