Abstract

The main objective of this work plan is to describe the actions that should be followed for the analysis and proposal project of a Slice-as-a-Service architecture for 5G networks to meet the needs of experimental research in orchestration and virtualization of functions in 5G networks. These actions include the development of an architecture that supports the slicing of computing, processing and infrastructure resources to services with distinct requirements in 5G networks. The main objective of the fellow is to contribute to the success of Activity 3.1 of the project: Propose an architecture to support the Slice-as-a-Service concept. The first challenge of the quality of experience-aware orchestration process is to define the related requirements, critical success factors and key performance indicators of this architecture. (AU)
