Abstract Quantum anomalies play an important role in the physics of Dirac materials. For example, they describe the anomalous Hall conductivity in such materials. Being motivated by recent discoveries on the non-hermiticity effects in condensed matter systems, we propose to study the parity anomaly for non-hermitian Dirac operators for planar fermions. The calculations will be done evaluating the Feynman diagrams and by the methods of spectral theory. | |
