Abstract Nitrogen (N) is the nutrient absorbed most by the corn crop and has the greatest influence on productivity. It is also strongly influenced by water deficit. This project aims to evaluate the application of hydrogels containing 15N to determine the fate of the nutrient in the soil-plant system. The first experimental stage will be carried out at FCA/UNESP and the second, which will involve determining and evaluating 15N in the plant, will be carried out at Bangor University, UK. The aim is to evaluate the phytotechnical, physiological and biochemical parameters that are affected by the presence of N. | |
