Abstract

This document presents the work proposal and research activities to be carried out by Lara Vilela Vitarelli during her exchange at the Centro de Investigaciones Estratégicas y de Desarrollo Económico y Social (CIEDES) Foundation, as part of her master's research supervised by Prof. Dr. Maria Gabriela Caffarena Celani (UNICAMP), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Carmen García (CIEDES/University of Malaga - UMA). The exchange, hosted by the CIEDES Foundation and UMA's Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences, aims to strengthen institutional links between UNICAMP and UMA, as well as contributing directly to the advancement of the scholar's academic research. The study will focus on Málaga TechPark, analyzing the urban integration and innovation strategies adopted by the park. The main objective of the internship is to investigate the process of urban-technological integration at Málaga TechPark and compare it with the São José dos Campos Technology Park (PIT). During the period, a field trip will also be made to the Sophia Antipolis park in the south of France, another interesting case of readjustment to the principles of sustainable urbanism. The work will take place over three months and will involve collecting data on the park's relationship with the city, including a literature review, interviews with managers and analysis of urban and social data. The internship is expected to contribute to the development of new planning strategies for the PIT, with a focus on mobility, urbanity and talent retention. In addition, the research aims to publish scientific articles on second-generation technology parks and their adaptations to new innovation models. (AU)
