Abstract

The project aims to understand the amplitude of the negative form present in two determinations of Hegel's philosophy: bad infinity and time. This form of negativity is characterized as an unresolved contradiction, a unilateral negativity. The connection between the two determinations is based on two records of Hegel's work: (i) the examination of the notion of bad infinity in the logic of being; (ii) the exposition of time in philosophy of nature. Therefore, the description of the relation allows to present the structures of a specific negativity posited by the speculative discourse.
