Abstract

We will develop theoretical models to explore quantum effects, such as entanglement and coherence, in quantum networks, with a dual focus on biological and photonic systems. Using percolation theory and quantum walks to analyze the dynamics of signal transfer and network interactions, we will explore two branches that, although focused on distinct physical systems, can be described using a unified quantum optics formalism applied to quantum networks: Integrated Quantum Photonics and Quantum Biology. By examining how network topology influences quantum coherence and entanglement, the research aspires to contribute to fields ranging from quantum communication to neurobiological modeling. This interdisciplinary approach aims to integrate advances in quantum information and machine learning to offer new insights for both technological and biological systems. (AU)
