Abstract

he use of digital flow is becoming increasingly important in the production of dental materials, given its ease of processing through CAD/CAM and additive manufacturing (AM) printing technologies. As such, the Center for Learning, Research and Innovation Resources (CRAI) at the USP School of Dentistry (FOUSP) has become a benchmark for providing the community with an open space to explore this type of process. However, consumables such as resins for 3D printing can be an obstacle to using the space, due to their high cost. The aim of this work is therefore to develop a light-curing resin material to be used in the 3D printers available at CRAI, bringing autonomy to the space. To this end, resin materials will be developed from different mixtures of monomers and photoinitiators, the quality of which will be gauged by physical-chemical and mechanical characterizations, using commercial resins specifically for use in dentistry as a reference.
