Abstract

The objective of this project is to analyze the constitutionalization of the right to food. This goal will be pursued through (1) mapping the historical occurrence of this right, using the Constitutions Analysis Portal database as the empirical basis, and (2) coding and scoring the relevant provisions according to the logic of the level of self-enforcement of constitutional rights. The results of this project will serve as the basis for the inclusion of the right to food in the CSSM database. (AU)
