Abstract

Thus, this project proposes to develop a series of activities on the concept of waves, both directly aimed at the classroom and for dissemination to a more general public. By developing a low-cost educational experiment and testing it in the classroom, the objective is to offer an approach to teaching the concept of waves that better engages students. We will consider simple experiments in acoustics and optics, but also the use of the theremin, a musical instrument that acts as an interface between these two types of waves.
