Abstract

Overcoming the gap and promoting spaces for interaction between science and practice isfundamental to solving complex problems of interest to society, such as the promotion of human-fauna coexistence. In this sense, this research plan aims toevaluate the benefits and challenges of transdisciplinarity, co-production and citizen sciencein building a non-linear relationship between science and practice, in order to fill the gap,and improve the spaces between research and implementation. Throughobservation, focus groups, interviews with stakeholders and the construction of aconceptual framework with the literature, the relationships of trust and power, the processes ofprocesses of engagement, mutual learning and capacity building, as well asthe credibility, salience and legitimacy of the knowledge produced and the plannedactions. In this way, the aim is to contribute to evidence-based practice andpractice and research oriented towards complex problems. (AU)
