Abstract

This master's research intends to understand the relevance of means of transportation in the poetic, critical, and translational work of Ana Cristina Cesar. We propose the hypothesis that the notions of displacement and crossing guide her poetic vision through two main perspectives: translation and rhythm. The research internship abroad seeks to deepen the second perspective, rhythm, given its relationship with transportation through processes of textual displacement (using enjambement and paste that emphasize the cinematic movement used in her work) and bodily movement (and its relationship with alterity, the reader, and lyric address).
