Abstract

In this project, the objective is for the student to learn new techniques and algorithms in lattice field theories, and also to increase his theoretical knowledge in the area. The work is focused on calculating topological observables on the lattice, quantifying the critical slowing down effects associated to these determinations and analyzing the dependence of the topological susceptibility on the natural length scale of the lattice, as well as implementing spectroscopy techniques to construct a hadronic state.
