Abstract

The work aims to build a platform where georeferenced inquiries can be made to determine the locations of the most suitable waste for renewable energy generation in each region of the State of São Paulo. For this work, maps and satellite images will be used, along with information from official data surveys regarding agriculture and cities, to create a spatial database found in Geographic Information Systems. These systems provide the capability for spatial queries. To make this system available in the form of a web application, algorithms and processes will be developed in programming language to adapt the Geographic Information System for the web environment.
