Abstract

The project aims to develop, test, and evaluate interdisciplinary teaching sequences in the field of Radiation Physics, with an emphasis on ultraviolet (UV) radiation and its interfaces with other areas of knowledge. Targeted at high school education, the work will be guided by the principles of Inquiry-Based Learning and the Maker Culture, in alignment with the competencies and skills defined by the Brazilian National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). The goal is to promote scientific literacy and to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students. The teaching sequences will include accessible texts, experiments, videos, simulators, games, and other educational resources. In addition to contributing to the co.educa platform repository, the project intends to implement these sequences in the classroom, in collaboration with public school teachers in São Paulo, and to assess their impact using tools developed by the research team.
