Abstract

This project aims to develop, test, and evaluate interdisciplinary teaching sequences on Radiation Physics, with an emphasis on luminescence and its interfaces with Astronomy, targeted at high school education. The activities will be structured based on the principles of Inquiry-Based Learning and the Maker Culture, in alignment with the competencies and skills outlined in the Brazilian National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). The main goal is to promote scientific literacy and encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among students in basic education. The teaching sequences will include accessible texts, experiments, videos, simulators, games, and other educational resources. In addition to contributing to the co.educa platform repository, the project aims to implement these sequences in classrooms, in collaboration with public school teachers in São Paulo, and to assess the impact of these proposals using instruments developed by the research team.
