Abstract

The following research intends to study the subproletariat as object of social philosophy, characterizing it and pointing out the main forms of social suffering upon this characterization. Regarding the study of subproletariat itself, the principal methodologic approach is on Paul Singer's Domination and Inequality and André Singer's The Meanings of Lulismo, both works which Interact with each other and talk, respectively, the start of the studies about the subproletariat and its presence in Lula's second term' speech as president, the lulimso . In addition, the social suffering issue is based on Emmanuel Renault' writings Social suffering: sociology, psychology and politics. (AU)
