Abstract

The main goal of this DD is to participate in the ReD collaboration measurement of low massrecoil energy. The student will join the IFUSP group which is part of the DarkSide and ReDcollaborations, and her/his research project will center in the Neutron Gun phase of the ReDexperiment.The student is expected to understand the Dark Matter (DM) problem, searches and recentresults. Understand the DM probed cross section versus mass parameter space, and why the lowmass region has been of interest, both from the experimental as from the theoretical point of view.His research project will focus on the NG measurements, for which she/he is expected toparticipate from the very beginning, with the NG commissioning at IFUSP, the measurements atLNS in Catania, Italy, and the data analysis.
