Abstract

The project "Data Intelligence for Public Lighting: Indicators and Analysis at the Interface between Social Sciences and Data Science" aims to produce qualified knowledge on urban lighting, integrating social, economic, and geospatial information from the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) with technical and regulatory data from the electricity sector. The research will be developed along four axes: (i) structuring and integrating databases; (ii) formulating and validating multidimensional indicators; (iii) statistical, multivariate, and geospatial analyses; and (iv) disseminating the results through an interactive platform, reports, and scientific publications. The aim is to provide support for improving public policies on urban lighting, contributing to greater efficiency, territorial equity, and social, economic, and environmental sustainability. (AU)
