Abstract

This research project bridges the areas of stochastic dynamical systems and optimization, aiming to provide a research training opportunity for a student with outstanding academic performance and strong interest in research. The primary focus is to analyze the stochastic convergence of evolutionary algorithms and their average convergence rate. The analysis will enable the student to gain hands-on research experience using tools from stochastic analysis, optimization, and Python programming, thereby fostering solid, interdisciplinary academic development.
