Abstract

The study and development of metallic semiconductor devices based on metal oxides such as SnO2 have shown great promise in developing new technologies. These materials are excellent candidates for the construction of various electronic devices, particularly light sensors in the visible to ultraviolet range. This paper proposes the investigation of the electronic properties and their alterations in nanostructures constructed from the aforementioned oxides, using experiments that analyze the dependence of current conduction processes on optical excitation. In this work, the activities proposed to the candidate aim to both learn basic techniques for device construction and study the properties of interest for the production of a light sensor.
