Abstract

This doctoral research conducted at Unicamp examines the personal, academic, and professional trajectories of graduates from the Science without Borders (CsF) Program at the undergraduate level. The research internship abroad at ISCTE, under the supervision of Dr. Cosmin Nada - an expert in international student mobility in Europe - will be dedicated to analyzing the empirical data already collected for this study (a questionnaire answered by 845 graduates and 52 narrative interviews), in order to understand the impacts of international mobility on the trajectories of CsF beneficiaries. As anticipated outcomes of this internship, it is expected that specialized guidance, ISCTE's institutional structure, and contact with its diverse body of researchers and faculty will contribute to the analytical quality of this research. Additionally, a literature and document review on internationalization and international academic mobility will be conducted to situate Brazil and the CsF Program in the context of other relevant initiatives for undergraduate student mobility, such as the Erasmus+ Program. The internship also aims to foster scientific collaboration networks among the researchers and institutions involved. Finally, based on the knowledge acquired during the internship, two workshops on the internationalization of academic training will be conducted at Unicamp/Brazil, with the goal of sharing the knowledge gained abroad and benefiting the entire academic community of the home institution.
