Abstract

In this project we intend that the student will acquire basic notions about: partial differential equations; the hyperbolic equations; introduction to the finite difference method; the concepts of convergence and stability of numerical methods; of numerical methods for the partial differential equations with convective predominance. In addition, the student will use Matlab Software for implementations of the numerical methods studied.
