Abstract

The current scientific initiation proposal has the purpose of tackling the problem of scheduling oil products in a pipeline network, aiming at the optimization of both financial and human resources. The approach will be based on the meta-heuristic GRASP and some of its extensions, such as improvements in the procedure, novel optimization strategies, and parallelism. In addition, PETROBRAS will be directly involved with the project, providing instances and analysing the program results.
