Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To identify the spatial distribution of the incidence of tuberculosis in the years 2002 to 2006, in the Paraíba Valley. METHODOLOGY: This is the ecological study using the tools of GIS. Data on the incidence of tuberculosis in the Paraíba Valley will be collected in DATASUS. The implications will be grouped into: zero to 15 years, 15 years and over and all ages. Their rates are calculated per 100,000 population information from the IBGE (Count of population 2007). Maps will be built with these fees, and estimated the spatial correlation of the index Moran Bayesian estimated rates. The computer program used is the TerraView, version 3.3.0, public access and developed by INPE.
