Abstract

This project aims the study of the deployment of the residual glycerol resulting from the biodiesel production in a mini-plant that it is being set up in one of the labs of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of UNESP at Ilha Solteira, as co-substratum in the biodigestion process of animal dejects, evaluating qualitative and quantitatively its potential for the biogas production in laboratory scale. The feasibility of the production of electricity, using a moto-generator adapted for biogas as fuel will also be investigated.
