Abstract

The communication, verbal or non-verbal, is a very important ability to individuals who live in society and need to establish some kind of interaction. The question of the dynamics involving space proximity, affects the way that each personal or groupal characteristics will be noticed. In view of this, studies about unconscious structuring of human microspace, called proxemics, were developed to understand better how men and women behave theirselves in different contexts. Considering the accomplished researches in this area, the present project intends to verify if there is relation between facial prominence and the users´ profile (age; mood and instruction). To allow the investigation, the users will be divided into groups according to their characteristics and the measures will be taken through the developed by Archer et. al. (1983). (AU)
