Abstract

The project is directed toward the structural elucidation and total synthesis of the alkaloid parvistemoamide. Further biogenetic relationship between the alkaloids parvistemoamide and stemoamide will be evaluated. An approach to the enantioselective total synthesis will also be attempted in order to verify the absolute stereochemistry of the alkaloid. (AU)
