Abstract The main objective of this work is to store electrical energy generated by mechanical vibrations of the material considered "smart". The research aims at the union of two major areas of engineering, electronics and mechanics, taking advantage of the knowledge that the student has acquired during the technical course in mechatronics, during the technical projects already undertaken and finally, the knowledge acquired during the technical training that the student developed. This proposal is presented an electronic circuit that has already been shown effective in research in the literature of this project. The student will continue in bibliographic searches and practical tests in an attempt to improve the circuit and discover frequency of vibration that can generate more tension to thereby reduce the time needed to complete recharge a battery to be sized after the first tests of verification of tension generated by the piezoelectric material. One of the methods that will be used to improve the circuit will be the initial exchange of silicon diodes used in the original circuit by diodes of germanium, these diodes have a voltage drop much lower than that presented by the fall of silicon diodes (0.2 v to diodes of germanium X v to 0.7 silicon diodes). This substitution can increase the efficiency of the circuit, generating less loss of energy. The analysis of various frequencies, including the resonance frequencies, will be evaluated during the search, but real rates will be prioritized, by references data from the student could conclude that the sign of frequency of vibration of a compressor of an engine of a car's brand Mitsubishi Eclipse model has the same kind of signal of a frequency randomly from 0 to 1000 Hz A parallel to the aforementioned goal is to learn and understand the correct functioning of the board of acquisition of data D-Space, this card will be used throughout the project of scaling the electronic circuitry. Since the beginning of the project knowledge on the card will not be complete, the first tests of tension generated use scopes and multímetros and accelerometers to measure the frequency of vibration generated by the shaker. | |
