Abstract

In Brazil, since de middle of the 1990, the implementation of the quality system on the building industry on the edification sector has been growing such one of the most important pattern of enterprise and production management, mainly on general contractors. Programs witch certificate the quality on the building industry, like QUALIHAB – Quality Program on Housing Building of São Paulo State, from the Housing and Urban Development Company of São Paulo State – CDHU and PBQP-H – Brazilian Program of Housing Quality and Productivity, from the Housing secretariat of city ministry, inspect the quality management on general contractors and subcontractors. Besides the activities connected to services, the programs also act on the products used for build, reaching all the productive chain. With the certification system implantation, many contractors could evolve their management quality system. Many of them arrived at NBR ISO 9001 certification, showing their adherence to the international norm. The building industry industrialization, through the usage of pre-cast parts, promoted in Brazil and in the world a great jump of quality inside the buildings, making sure that the industrialized components were controlled during their production with good materials, selected supplier and trained man power. The companies which fabricate the pre-cast materials also pass by a quality inspection of their produced pieces. At this search, it will be studied the certification made by ABCIC – Brazilian association of Concrete industrialized Building, which gives a certification stamp for general contractors that had reached one of their evaluative levels. To this search is proposed to study the implantation process of ABCIC stamp for the concrete daily pay-manufactured materials, trough adequate bibliography and visits to contractors associated to ABCIC, which are in one of the levels of the implantation of the certificate stamp.
