Abstract

In light of Shaftesbury (1671-1713), James Harris (1709-1780) and David Hume's (1711-1776) works, this project intends to analyse the relevance of the problem of taste in Eighteenth -Century British Philosophy. As we attempt to show in the course of our research, the works of these three philosophers has turned taste into a real philosophical subject and being related to the current notion of philosophy.
