Abstract

This work is part of a research project conduced with the FAPESP support, by a research group which studies the family agriculture in the west region of the São Paulo State. In this case the purpose is to analyze the role of the farmers Association in the production and commercialization of the milk in the Timboré Rural Settlement (SP). The methodology is composed by the application of a questionnaire within the “August 19th Association” leaders and also within all the milk producers intending to verify and to analyze the role of this Association in the production and commercialization of the milk, the general farmers and its family properties characteristics.
