Abstract Advances in texture control are still made by essentially empirical methods. The limited scientific knowledge on recrystallization nucleation and on recrystallized regions growth, associated with lack of clarity on the effects of deformation heterogeneities, are still an enormous barrier for the evolution modeling of texture in the recrystallization. Therefore, the main objective of this work is to study the evolution of texture, microtexture and recrystallization mesotexture after low degrees of cold deformation in low carbon steels for the manufacture of engines. | |
