Abstract

This project aims the chemi-enzimatic synthesis of optically active epoxyamine and epoxyazido used as chiral intermediaries in the synthesis of HIVPR inhibitors with hydroxiethylamine structure. The key step is the bioreduction of C=C and C=O by Saccharomyces cerevisiae or other microorganisms in the obtaintion of chiral centers in high enantimeric excess.
