Abstract

The present study will have as objective evaluate the interaction quality between man and bovines testing two different handling, the Rational (vaccination in the contention log) and the Conventional (vaccination in collective corral) during the vaccination process. It will be leading an experiment at the animal production section of the Fazenda de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão (FEPE - Single UNESP/Ilha Solteira), subdivided in two different periods (May 07th and November 07th). Each period, will hold 120 Guzerá breed bovines in different categories: 40 adult females (bigger than 36 months), 40 young males (between 18 and 24 months) and 40 weaned animals (between 6 and 17 months). Each category will be subdivided in half and submitted to the treatments, described as: Treatment 1 = 20 animals vaccinated by the rational method (RAC) and Treatment 2 = 20 animals by the method Conventional (CON). By parametric analyses (ANOVA) and free distribution (qui-square) the effect of the animals well-being by handling (categories and behavior standards analyses) and work efficiency will be identified (time, vaccine dose losses, ebb after application and needle re-introduction).
