Abstract

One of the most promising lines of synthetic materials research consists in the development of nanostructured systems (nanocomposites), where transmission electron microscopy (TEM) studies represent a fundamental characterization tool, and unfortunately, these methods are not widely used in Brazil, although several research group activities dela with nanosystems. The aim of this project is to apply transmission electron microscopy techniques to study different nanostructured systems, and we expect that this post-doctoral stay will help to develop this field in Brazil.
