Abstract

This project intends to work with historical studies devoted to the treatement of living beings in modern time, focusing the development of experimental method. In his present stage, the research seeks the correlations between metodological, empirical, and conceptual considerations on the studies of animal reproduction made by Lazzaro Spallanzani. These correlations aim to epistemological basis over which was constructed an autonomous investigation of living beings in the Eighteenth Century. (AU)
