Abstract

The Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) can be defined as the study of the inclusion of conflicting criteria in the decision making. In his PhD dissertation, the researcher applied for the analysis of the Production Planning and Control, initially, one MCDM method, the Analytic Hierarchy Process. Then, with the application of the Analytic Network Process and the Incomplete Pairwise Comparisons, the performance of the MCDM could be improved, mainly, in two attributes: Quality and Efficiency. However, the results need of more research to be considered conclusive. It is intended in this research to apply the model of analysis of the performance of the MCDM proposed by the researcher, in distinct situations of his PhD research. Among them are the decisions unrelated to the Production Planning and Control or the application of methods and distinct procedures of MCDM. (AU)
