Graduated in Biological Sciences, with a Master's and Ph.D. in Ecology from the State University of Campinas. Currently, I am in the third year of Postdoctoral studies at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, USA. My research interests are focused on disease ecology, climate change, and amphibian conservation, particularly in understanding the effects of climate change, multiple infections, and pathogen genetics on modulating disease dynamics and virulence evolution. My research primarily addresses the ecological relationships between the fungus Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis and neotropical amphibians, as well as the development of model organisms to facilitate the study of the amphibian-Bd system with minimal ecological impact.
