Conrado Augusto Vieira

PhD and Master of the Postgraduate Course in Agricultural Microbiology by the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), with emphasis on biological associations of the orchid mycorrhizal type, holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG), works in the conservation of epiphytic orchids in the Atlantic Forest biome focusing on molecular biology from studies with metagenomics and isotopic measurements in partnership with the Museum National d'Historie Naturalle (Paris / France) where he worked as a visiting researcher. Worked as a consultant in microbiology for UNESCO for the elaboration of the new exhibition at the national museum Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Worked as a scholar in the field of microbiology with emphasis on isolation, cultivation and storage of chytrid (Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis) in collaboration with a research group from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Has advanced knowledge in bioinformatics with analysis of new generation sequencing (NGS) data, statistics and geoprocessing. Co-founder of Shaw Bioinformatics, elected the second best Startup of Minas Gerais in 2017, with innovation in advanced analyzes of genomic data. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
