Postdoctorade at Harvard Medical University (HMS) at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine - Massachusetts General Hospital, in Dr. Tayabba Hasan's laboratory. Doctor in Dental Sciences degree from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) - Araraquara Araraquara School of Dentistry (FOAr). Masters degree in Biosciences and Biomaterials and PhD in Implantology by UNESP-FOAr with a period as Visiting Scholar at Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUPUI) under the guidance of Dr. Simone Duarte. Specialist in Implantology by the Brazilian Dental Association (ABO). She is highly skilled in using in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo techniques to make important advances in the field of oral healthcare. Since she was an undergrad internship, she have been working making essential contributions to all aspects of the research effort including proposal writing; planning and executing experiments; analyzing and interpreting results; and reporting and publishing findings. Her hard work and technical insights have contributed enormously to translate hypothesis in results. She is an expert in antimicrobial tests and biofilm development.
