Marta Leandro da Mata

PhD (2014) and Master in Information Science (2009) from the Postgraduate Program in Information Science (PPGCI) and Bachelor in Library Science, both from the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP/Campus de Marília), with a sandwich doctorate period at the Carlos III University of Madrid (2013). She has a Post-Doctorate in Information Science from the State University of Londrina (2016). She is an assistant professor in the Department of Library Science and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Information Science at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). She is the Preservation Laboratory Coordinator. Leader of the research group "Information Competence and Interrelated Processes". She is coordinator of GT 6-Information, Education and Work (Management 2023-2025) and was deputy coordinator of GT (Management 2021-2023) of the National Association for Research and Postgraduate Studies in Information Science (ANCIB). She is a member of the Information Competence Working Group of the Brazilian Federation of Associations of Librarians, Information Scientists and Institutions (FEBAB), between 2020-. She is responsible for the column "Between connections and informational processes", on the Infohome / OFAJ website. He has experience in the area of Information Science and Librarianship, working mainly on the following topics: information competence, information sources, evaluation of information sources and fake news, librarian training and performance, user studies (with a traditional approach , alternative and social).
