Birthplace: Colômbia

I have a degree in Biology - Universidad Del Valle (2009) and a PhD in Biosciences and Bioactive Products Technology from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2016). I am part of the laboratory in biological chemistry - LQB of the chemistry institute of UNICAMP, as a collaborating researcher, I was part of the Hemostasis laboratory of HEMOCENTRO-UNICAMP, as a postdoctoral student (PD) and I did my doctorate in the national bioscience laboratory LNBio of the national center of research in energy and materials CNPEM. - In the doctorate, the main objective of my research was to trace the expression profile of genes involved in the metabolism of glucose and glutamine through high generation sequencing (RNAseq), as well as the metabolomic profile by NMR of triple negative breast cancer cell lines. - As a collaborating researcher, I had the opportunity to participate in different research projects focused on metabolomic and metabomomic analyzes by NMR techniques related to human diseases, including pediatric solid tumors and brain damages. - and as a PD, I got to know other types of diseases, besides cancer, with the project metabolomic and metabomomic analyzes by NMR techniques applied in studies of venous thrombosis. I have experience in Genetics, biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, NMR metabolomics, tumor metabolism, thrombosis (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
