Ana C. Pellegrino, Brazilian, is a graduate from the University of Campinas - UNICAMP - in Biological Sciences (2006), with a master?s degree in Entomology from the University of São Paulo - USP (2011) and a MBA in Business Management from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation - FGV (2016). Pellegrino has pursued a 10+ year career as a researcher for environmental and agricultural solutions against crop pests with top-tier universities such as ESALQ, UFPR, University of Western Ontario and multinational corporation Syngenta Crop Protection. Pellegrino specializes in insect mass rearing and pest management in several crops and has implemented and coordinated research projects that resulted in important new methodologies and launching of new chemical defensives and GMOs seeds in the market. Pellegrino?s last position was in 2019-20 as the Senior Environmental Specialist at UiD Energy, an oil refinery in the process of implementation in South Africa.
