Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2002), mestrado em Ciências (Bioquímica) pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2005), doutorado em Ciências (Bioquímica) pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2011) e pós-doutorado pelo Departamento de Bioquímica da Universidade de São Paulo (2015). Foi professor colaborador do Departamento de Química da Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa de 2016 a 2019. Atualmente é professora no Instituto Federal Catarinense.
