André Gradvohl holds a degree in Computing from the Federal University of Ceará (1997), a Master in Science degree in Electronic Engineering and Computing from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (2000), a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering - in the Telecommunications and Telematics field- from Campinas University (2005) and Specialist degree in Scientific Journalism from the Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Journalism, at the University of Campinas (2010). He also performed a postdoctoral stage in distributed systems at the Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris 6 (LIP6), Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI) (2014). In 2019, he obtained the "Livre Docente" title in Computer Science from the University of Campinas. He is currently an associate professor at the School of Technology at the University of Campinas. In 2017, he was awarded the IEEE Senior Member title. In 2018, he received the Professor Recognition Award for his dedication to undergraduate education at the Unicamp, and in 2021 he received the "Zeferino Vaz" Academic Recognition Award from the Unicamp School of Technology. It has experience in Computer Science, acting on the following subjects: high-performance processing, distributed systems, information security, and forecasting solar flares.
